Hyderabad mayor tests Covid-19 positive

HYDERABAD: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation(GHMC) mayor Bonthu Rammohan has tested positive for Covid-19 even as he has no symptoms. The mayor is under home isolation and will interact with officials and review civic works through video conferences.
The mayor and his family underwent the antigen test on July 25. His family was tested negative.
Rammohan decided to donate plasma post recovery and organise a plasma donation camp.
“Mayor has decided to speak to other patients who have recovered from Covid-19. A plasma donation camp will be held in TRS party office with many donors,” read a statement issued by GHMC.
